Hi!

I have a Fender Blues Jr. (3 color sunburst 8) ), and planning to change a stock Jencen speaker. Which would be better: Eminence Texas Heat or Cannabis Rex? I use Fender Strat and Gibson LP guitars. Any sound clips about Texas and Cannabis? Maybe Weber Blue Alnico 50w would be another choise. Those speakers installs easily without drilling my beatiful amp? No, I don´t wanna Green´s - since I already have a Marshall 1960TV cab (it´s great too, but wanna have something different).

Many thanks.

Hello Wessman,

I am still using my original Jensen C12N speaker
in my Nos cabinet, I know Forum friend Chet Feathers
likes Scumback speakers you could give them a
call and see what they might reccommend.

Another Forum friend and Blues Jr, specialist & expert,
Billm feels the Cannibis Rex is a great choice.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

Thanks for your input. How about the tubes - what would be the best set? Was thinking of:

Power: 2 x JJ EL84
Pre: 1 x EH 12AY7, 2 x Tung Sol 12AX7 gold pin

Many thanks for your help.

Best regards, reggae man

Hello Wessman,

I changed my ax7's to at7's
amp got a wee bit cleaner
nothing earth shattering.

Chet has installed some
old school tubes in his,
hopefully he'll chime in.

Cheers.
