Hi YeeHaw

I to like to blend my amps. It sounds like a "ground loop" to me. Hooking up two "inputs" can cause this if there is no "isolation" employed. To get past this I go into my HRD410 with my chain and then come out of the Fx send to the in of the chorus. Then "A" goes to Fx in (return) on HRD410, and "B" goes to Fx in on my G100-212S. The front end of the G100 is never used and all of my tone control and distortion switching is from the HRD.

The only thing is that the signal is quite Hot (0db) and will clip a cheep chorus. The "hum" signal is quite low with respect to the level of signal at this point in the path and i love the stereo image that i get. I don't like swirly chorus so it is barely on, only enough to be there.

I have variable send and returns on the G100 which allows me to balance volume. If you don't have that function, well ........ buy a paddle.

I have never tried my AB in this position as i use it to mix clean and tremolo in my chain.

May be you could try your AB in this config.

Let us know how you make out.
