Go to your utilities setting and make sure you have the memory protect to the "off" position.

Thx for the tip -- I'll check it out tonight to see if that's causing them not to save.

Curious when recording off the amp, are people running an out from the amp or miking it or both?

Sorry - just getting into the recording / production (starting with my own musical ambitions) and just trying to factor how I can use it if I can to for sounds.

For recording I go directly to the mixing board from the amp's XLR outputs.

I didn't record, but at the last band rehearsal, I did just that (line outs in dual mono to the board) and the sound was excellent. I just aquired the SE combo the day before, so I wasn't sure how it was going to sound. I trusted what I had read about the SE and I was not disappointed. I really love this amp alot.

There are several place's to get info for the Cyber Twin.... One place that I like is the forum at FenderTalk.com... They have a corner just for the Cyber Twin folks, where we can share info, patches and stuff.... To really learn what's going on inside the Cyber Twin the software program Cyber Commander can't be beat....

Don't know if this is the right place to post this so I apologize if I need to move the thread elswhere.....

Long time CT user but mine died in a move so I had to get another. Anyway, I found an original CT that was a used demo new-old-stock I guess , as it still had hang tags and with footswitch that was still in original packing, got it for a great price so could not pass on it... but when I got it it sounded weird like the speakers were out of phase and sure enough they did not match up. Switched it and it sounds great now.

My question is, well on your original CT's I assume from basic electronics that black is - and White is + but has anyone else seen this on their CT's? The connectors were stuck on there pretty good so it almost seems this came like this from the factory, but would fender really make a mistake like that.

Easy enough fix, I just wanted to make sure that I had the connector coloring right, and to make sure there was not a deliberate phase reversal on the CT's for some odd reason....

Thanks for any input

I'm in the club. I had a First Edition, got rid of it, went a few other directions with amps 3-5 times the price and I'm back with an SE. Been gigging with it and loving it.

Here it is hanging with the big boys !

Great Photo Shawn

I've had my SE for 6 years now and love it... I run Cyber Commander with it and it opens all the goodies that this amp has to offer.... It just keeps on getting better with age... best amp for an old guy, retired my 65 twin reverb this amp does so much more and sound just as good... Keep on playing...Jakej

Hey Guys,
Nice photo! I am gigging with my SE all the time. I do, out of habit, bring a backup amp-usually my Reverend Hellhound, but never have to break it out. I think the SE is so damn versitle. I do worry that it may not be around much longer as Fender seems to be pushing the G-Dec 3 hard. I personally don't see the comparison. The G-Dec 3 isn't a gigging amp in my opinion as the biggest one they make is 30 watts.

Jake, how have you been? Sorry that I haven't posted much in a while. It has been a very busy summer so far. :-)

How do I paste a photo in here?
