I too use the M-Audio Uno. Works fine with my CT, v1.3. I too love mine! You couldn't pry it away. I don't understand why it is not as accepted as it should be. If you an want old tube amp, and that tickles your fancy, by all means, get one. However, if you are not afraid to embrace new technology, and actually TAKE the TIME to learn the CT's capabilities, I would HIGHLY recommend it. But I don't have to tell you guys here in this forum, as you already own one! I think that it is a hit, and if Fender stays the course, it will likely become a mainstay. It is funny to hear all the smashings around the web on the "Modeling Amps", yet some of the best selling items are the Modeling pedals, and Modeling guitars? I don't understand the theory that if you feed a classic amp, with a modeling midi-foot board, (IE Digitech) that is somehow sounds far superior to the amp with the electronics built right in. Like computers, garbage in-garbage out. The more you insert into the line, the more you degrade the original signal. The quality of the CT is in my opinion far and away better than some of the plastic foot modeling devices that is out there. I don't think Fender did the best job that they could have, in explaining that the CT is not just a Modeling Amp, as the others are, but that it actually changes circuit design to match. Hence, people compare it to the VOX and Line 6 Modeling amps, when it is so much more.

I got a UNO yesterday for Father's day. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
Is there Pathwizard file exchange somewhere on the net?

I've also got a question, maybe someone out there knows the answer...
I bought a CT ver.2, that was NOS from a Fender dealer. I should get a full 5 years from the date of purchase, correct?
Does anyone know what the warrenty is on the MIDI controller pedal?

Yes, there is patch pool on the Patch Wizard site http://www.patchwizard.com/pw_FCTPP01.htm. But first you have the Patch Wizard software http://www.patchwizard.com/pw_download.htm.

The author of the software has had health problems, that's why there hasn't been any upgrades.

WHat paramaters of the CT are after the effects loop. I'm looking to run the right out of my GT8 into the Effects loop return, so that I can run two cabs....and would like to know what I should set anything to to get the cleanest sound possible.

THanks.

For which CT, CT ver 1.3 or CT-SE?

I have CT 1.3.

I looked at hte manual link, didnt see anything that suggests where the effects loop sits with internal components.

I own a Cyber Twin. I love its versatility. By far the best amp I've ever owned.

Can the jewel be changed on the CT? It doesn't appear to be the same as my Showman, and I'm a bit reluctant to twist it too hard.

Can anybody tell me why it's been so hard for me to find a Cyber Foot Controller. I've had one ordered from my local music shop since Nov. '06. I'm wonder if they were recalled or is Fender upgrading the controller, wtf?

Hi all..

First off, happy 4th of july! I'm feeling pretty plump full of bbq food right now.

Just a quick question on the Cybertwin - I have an original Cyber Twin that I really like. As far as amps go, it's about the best I've had. I've read a few posts here about a v1.3 upgrade or firmware revision. My CT is running v1.2. Can I get any upgrades to the firmware? And if so, what do those upgrades give me in terms of features or functionality?

On a side note, I combine my Cyber Twin with a little Boss VF1 24 bit fx processor, and I can get some really great tones. I would say that there are a few combinations of effects that I can't get with the CT alone, so that's why I'm using the VF1 in the FX loop. The rotating speaker effect on the VF1 really sound great inline with the CyberTwin Preamp/Power amp sections. There's also a nice compressor in the VF1 that has a different quality to the compression than the CT's compressor can achieve. All in all, I can get just about any sound out of this combination that I need. I use an older Ground Control Midi pedal to run my Cyber Twin and the VF1 and it seems to work really good.

Last weekend, I tried out the Cyber Twin SE and I really dig the fuzz effect and the emulation of the tube screamer effect they put in there. Really fantastic stuff. I think the boutique pedals and all that are really cool, but a little to much footwork for me. I had a guitar rack setup years ago that was cool, but very heavy and a little much to hook everything up. So I really appreciate all the power and capability of the cyber twin, the vf1, and my ground control pedal in such a compact little setup.

-PT

Belated putting in my $.02 on this thread -- I have several C-T's and a C-TSE and have gigged with all of 'em. Love 'em all!
