If you would like to hear what a Cyber Twin SE sounds like, with an amateur just fooling around, here's a link.

All these were one shot recordings with no "doctoring", so keep that in mind.

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_mu ... dID=882298

Makin'Music was using a Carlo Robelli D120 Manhattan (an Asian D'Aquisto copy)

Cryin' For My Country was using an American Stratocaster Plus Deluxe

Blues in Am, and A lazy Saturday Afternoon, was using an AVRI Jazzmaster

All through my trusty Fender Cyber Twin SE. A Great amp!

Listen and see what you think

Man, that is nice. I'd love to get to the point where I can do stuff like that. Thank you for the inspiration! :)

Added "No Place To Go" yesterday
This one has had some processing in the mastering.

What were the settings for the Cyber Twin you used for the "Country" song? Were they the same settings as the "Blues" song?

I have been using the preset below for most of my songs.

Cryin' For My country, If I remember right, was just this preset below, with an Ash bodied strat, with a maple neck and CS54 pickups and 11-50 stainless flat wound strings. I switch back and forth between the middle, neck/middle and the neck pickups for which ever sound that feels right at the time. I think I used the middle pickup in this song with the tone rolled off a bit.

Blues in Amin, was using an AVRI Jazzmaster with the same preset. It is a stock Jazzmaster with 12-52 stainless flat wound strings.

The songs are recorded into A Fostex MR-8. Then moved to a muititrack recording program on the computer for mixdown and mastering. Then converted to MP3 and posted.

Code:
1  "My '65 TRRI     "    =Preset Name          ;
2  "Blackface"           =Tone Stack           ;
3  "Pre-Distortion"      =Tone Position        ;
4  "Reverse Polarity"    =Speaker Phase        ;
5  "Blackface Tube 3"    =Drive Circuitry      ;
6  "Amp Tremolo"         =Effect Type          ;
7  "Blackface Reverb"    =Reverb Type          ;
8  "FX Input Only"       =Reverb Bypass        ;
9  "Super Bright"        =Timbre Type          ;
10 "Off"                 =Compressor Type      ;
11 "Low"                 =Noise Gate Type      ;
12  5.4                  =Gain Value           ;
13  5.3                  =Volume Value         ;
14  5.0                  =Treble Value         ;
15  1.2                  =Middle Value         ;
16  5.6                  =Bass Value           ;
17 10.0                  =Presence Value       ;
18  3.5                  =Reverb Value         ;
19 1.00                  =Delay Out Level      ;
20 6.48                  =Tremolo Rate(Hz)     ;
21 7.67                  =Tremolo Depth        ;
22 7.60                  =Trem Duty Cycle      ;
23 "2.98"                =Tremolo Shape        ;
24                       =Dly/Time Change      ;
25 10.0                  =Reverb Input         ;
26 8.98                  =Reverb Tone          ;
27 10.0                  =Reverb Time          ;
28 1.00                  =Reverb Diffusion     ;
29 5.02                  =Noise Gate Depth     ;
30 OFF                   =Noise Gate           ;
31 "Tremolo Depth"       =Expression Pedal     ;
32 "Tremolo Rate(Hz)"    =Cont. Controller     ;

A note about an observation between the ash Strat and a 60s Strat I have;
When I use the 60s Start, I have to turn the middle tone control up to at least 5.5. (and above) So don't be afraid to tweak to your guitar and taste.

I hope this helps. I try to answer as best I can. Much of my "recording" is just playing around, and feeling like something sounds like a song, so I hit record. :oops:

Have fun. :D

You are welcome :D

In case anyone is interested in listening - I posted three more songs.

URL is http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=882298&content=music

I hope you like them. Thanks for listening.

The Cyber Twin SE still amazes me with it's sound, tone and capabilities.
It inspires creativity.
