Hello, I'm a noob with the guitar, yet while I'm learning I want to be able to use my amp yet via earphones so I do not wake my wife.

Can anyone advise where in the circuit for this amp I would be able to attach leads to enable me to plug in earphones (disabling the main amp itself).

I am thinking of putting a socket on the rear plate.
Possibly a switched socket so that at the same time I disable the rest of the amp.

Also, later on I would like to add some effects (overdrive etc) for use with an electric guitar. Suggestions on where I would insert this into the circuit would be appreciated, yet again I can add controls onto the rear panel.

Although buying a new amp would probably overcome all of this, there is no way that this will happen.

I have the circuit diagram & am more than capable of making a good job of the mod. (Its not the DSP one).
Thank you,

Matty
