Does anyone know what amp would go best with an HSS American Deluxe?
I was thinking a Fender twin

Well do you want blackface or tweed tone? What style of music? Lotta variables go into that answer!

I think the new versions of the twin with the tremolo and the distortion is a good all-rounder. With one or two compact pedals, you can go from jazz to metal very easily.

Being the proud owner of a American Deluxe HSS Strat(rosewood 'board); the Pro Tube Twin Reverb is a excellent choice. It is a little tricky to dial in the overdrive channel, but once you find your setting,... wow! Also, the Pro Tube Twin sounds even better with a closed back speaker cabinet. Think of the Twin Reverb as the Swiss Army knife of amps.
For a more vintage vibe, it is hard to beat a Super Reverb for filling a stage with that Fender magic. Depending on you style, you may wish to add a good overdrive pedal and wah pedal.

I'm going my setup, an '06 American Telecaster w/ super 250's (10-46)with a 65 Twin Reverb (RI) and the Fender Super Koil Kable. No pedals for me, straight up sound.

One of the best amps for the HSS Am Dlx strat is the new Super Sonic. With the S-1 switch down, the Vibrolux setting brings out the best of the dark SCN singles in any position. The other pickup settings sound great through the Bassman and Burn settings. Lots of options.... The HSS with the S-1 is like THE Swiss army knife of tone. And you mix that up with the SS, Wow! AWESOME combination!!!!

A stock Fender Stratocaster and a Twin Reverb is Awesome. Also a Gobson Les Paul Custom and a Marshall Plexi head and 4x12 cabinet is legendary.
