I find that I can get a real good thick sound from the burn channel at relatively low volumes. The only issue I have is when I want that edge of breakup tube crunch from the bassman channel. This requires blowing your ears out. The SS has turned out to be the perfect gigging amp for my situation. I have been through 4 other amps until I found the SS.....This one's a keeper!!

It got my foot to tapping, so it must be good.

Gotta say jimmyohio, that i listened to your stuff and it sounded awesome. Totally! You and your band need to get signed if you haven't yet. Get down toward Atlanta area and believe me someone will probably hook you guys up. You guys have that Lynard Skynard vibe that just kick's $@!! Keep it up and you'll be big!! :D Note: that singer sounds like Ronnie van Zant of Lynard Skynard 8) AWSOME!!!

Thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately all 3 band members are 40 or older and have full time jobs and wives and kids. Not sure a record deal is in our future. Of course if someone offered us a three record deal with a million dollar siging bonus I'm sure we would all quit our respective jobs and do the music thing full time. Thanks for complimenting my voice. I used to hate to sing because I hate the sound of my own voice. I am starting to get used to it.

I'd buy a 15 watt SuperSonic for sure, if it kept the same circuit design. Or maybe 22 watts with 6V6's like the DRRI. I'd want a 12" speaker though.

Great grooves man! I'm a drummer in real life :) but I love to play guitar! Your drummer is slammin'. The bass and guitar have some killer tone. Your guitar tone and riffs make me think of a modern day Black Sabbath in some places. In some places ZZ. But, it's a style all your own, I'm just grabbing comparatives. 8)

That's funny that you made those comparisons. Our My Space page reads.....Sounds Like: ZZ Top meets P Funk meets Black Sabbath.

My first true influence on guitar came from the first Black Sabbath album when I was in Junior high. I must have listened to that album 1000 times!! I became a big fan of early ZZ Top as I got in college and my tastes turned more towards blues. Thanks for the compliments. I love it when someone tells us that we sound like the bands that influenced us!!

Great tone out of the Supersonic. I sampled all 6 tracks on your page and I really liked them. I think I like "98 In the Shade" best.

Akron! Are you a Black Keys fan?
