Why doesn't Fender make a Showman reissue? It'd make plenty of cash, and make it so you could buy the head and cab together, or separately. :?: What do you think, should they? Check the poll and explain why you answered.

Are you talking about the amp that The Ventures used a lot in their early days? I thought it was called a Showman Dual Reverb (or something like that) head with a 2x15 cabinet under it. Now that one I'd like to see reissued! (Of course, I probably couldn't afford it if they did, the way prices have been going through the roof lately.)

Or, are you referring to another amp?

I'm talking about the Blonde one from the Early '60s.

I'm all for it...

I'd love to see a Silverface Bassman or Showman reissue... Fender can even add modern features to it...

I'm all for it! Dick Dale here we come. If it comes with the big transformer, I'm in. Where do I send my deposit? And don't forget the JBL D130F 15" speaker cabs! :D

Actually, it was called a Dual Showman and it was the amp of my dreams in 1971. Everybody went big in those days. The more cabs and watts the better!! Or so we thought.

That's the one I'm talking about! A head and matching cab.! 8)
The one my friend had was in the late 60s though and black with silver face. He played a cherry red 335 gibson through it. I was so jealous!!
