I understand the 400 Pro was discontinued. I am wondering why. I own one and have never been truly satisfied. I play a 5 string and have never been able to get the amp to adequately handle it. Any comments/suggestions are welcomed.

I also owned the 400 pro and was never happy with it.It was the weakest 350 or 500 watts I ever had. I thought I had just got a lemon ( Monday or Friday) but others I talked to had the same issues. Could be part of the reason for discontinuing. I traded it and went to the 1200 pro and have never looked back. I have owned tons of bass amps and the 1200 pro is right up there.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought maybe it was just me. I think it's going up on Ebay and I'll look for a replacement.
