I love my SE and was wondering if any of you guys had ever run yours through a 4 X 12 cabinet.

I was looking at the Bugera 4 X 12 online ($250) and it says it is 8 ohms stereo and 16 ohms mono. Would you run one cable out or two and would you plug it in for 8 or 16 ohms? I am completely ignorant when it comes to ohms for amps.

Any help would be more than greatly appreciated.

Hey Chronic,

I have run my SE thru my Marshall 4-12" stereo cab and it sounds great!!!
I also had the first version Cyber Twin head thru the same cabinet.
I use my SE without the cabinet more now simply because the stock Celestians sound great and it's easier to transport.

But I'd recommend running your SE in stereo because that's how the Cyber Twin was meant to be used since it has 2 power amps.
You will need 2 speaker cables and run them in 8 ohms for the left and right speaker inputs from the amp to your cabinet. If you ran it mono then you'd only be using 1 side of your amp/power amp and I don't know of a chord that would link both outputs into a mono mix. Stereo all the way!!!

Make sense?
