With the new EVH 5150 III being a Fender I would expect the amp to be mentioned at least here. What gives??

Don't know? Maybe because it's not really a "Fender"? I've got other amps to fill the needs of that category of amp tone. One being a Soldano SLO-100. I've got vintage and vintage reissues of "traditional" Fender amps for "that tone". Just an idea? Maybe most folks here are into the traditional and slightly modded traditional Fender amps.

Question how is the new Fender built EVH 5150 III NOT a real "Fender"??
IMO this is one of the best high gain tone monsters in the industry!!
As a new guy and a big Prosonic / Tone Master/ 5150 III fan myself I have noticed that there doesn't seem to be much intrest in non traditional Fender amps here. Heck even the Super Sonic doesn't seem to have much discussion here.
I understand the appeal of a Blackface Deluxe Reverb or a good Twin, Blackface Super ect. I have owned several of these over the years but frankly those amps just are not my thing tone wise.
Am I alone over here in loving the hot high gain modern sounding Fender stuff like the flamethrowing Prosonics, the killer arena rocking Tone Masters or the new EVH 5150 III?? Were it not for amps like these from Fender I would most likely never own another Fender amp and still be playing Boogies, Soldanos or Marshalls!

Yep, I agree and the Fender EVH 5150 is one fine sounding amp. My new Supersonic is a real treat and an excellent mix of old and new sounds. Didn't Jim Marshall, when he set out to build his first amp copy one or two of the old Fender amp circuits? I can't remember which amps they were, but they were Fenders. Thanks to Leo for his endless "tweaking" and getting feedback from musicians over the years, we have a neat set of amp circuits out there and more new ones coming from Fender.

From what I undertand the first Marshalls were a modified Bassman circuit.
I need solid cleans and also solid high gain crunches at the footswitch for what i do. the prosonics fit me well. I had a SuperSonic head in Blond Oxblood for a while and those are quite nice as well! I set the effects loop up as a footswitchable solo boost by jumping the loop. I got some purt cool tones like THESE outta my Super Sonic

Here is the same track with the Prosonic doing the solo
