I took home a new frontman fm65r Saturday.
Monday I took it back. I really wanted to like it.
The volume was low at "1" then suddenly at "2" the
volume jumped to what I believe should have been
at least 50% or more of what the amp was capable of
outputting. At "3" the speaker shook and the audio
output was buzzy and sounded as if the amp
would explode. The volume knob was anything but
linear. Anyone else have this experience?

Hello Bucket Buddy,

I've been pretty satisfied with the
frontman series, had a 25r for over
a decade problem free and use thr 65r
occasionally. Possibly you got a lemon.
hope tings work out.

Cheers.

Yeah, I returned it and got an Orange crush 30r.
I love fender guitars but have had bad luck with
their amps. My guitars are all made in America.
Too bad the amps can't be made here too...
