On the fender blues junior combo is it possible to get different coverings for example; tweed, brown tolex or, texas red?

Or do these coverings only appear on the limited edition models?

Thanks

The Fender Blues Junior comes in many finishes including the following. They are all the same basic amp with the exception of the different colored tolexs and or tweed finishes. The Speakers are better in the tweed (with a Jensen C12) and the new Texas Red (with a Cheleston Vintage 30). SOme of The Tweed NOS and Texas Red also have NOS tubes and badges.

Fender Blues Junior regular tolex
Fender Blues Junior non lacquered tweed
Fender Blues Junior lacquered tweed NOS
Fender Blues Junior lacquered tweed NOS Relic version
Fender Blues Junior blond tolex
Fender Blues Junior brown tolex
Fender Blues Junior Sam Ash edition brown and black tolex
Fender Blues Junior "Texas Red" tolex
Fender Blues Junior Custom Shop sunburst finish

Hello CUJarrett,

Let's not forget the

Cheers.

Hmm, I have never heard of it. Sounds neat. Any chance you have a link, I could not find one.

I saw that texas red, it's so beautiful! But i think it's 90$ more expensive than the normal blues junior am i right? Does that speaker sound better and worth 90$ more? I almost bought the amp, but when i saw that it was more expensive i didn't buy it.

You would have to play it to see how you liked it in comparison with the regular Tolex BJ. I know that the Jensen C12 speaker in the NOS is yards above the Emenice that the Tolex comes with (IMO). I know that Cheleston Vintage 30's (what come in the Texas Red) are great speakers and are used by probably many of your favorite artist around the world.
