Hi there

In 2003 I bought this Fender Princeton 65 DSP amp to replace my HotRod DeVille at smaller gigs. It served me well until it developed this weird hum. It still sounds great but the humming is rather annoying and I can't seem to findd the cause. It sounds somewhat like an grounding problem, but it's not. It hums in other places to, while my other amps work fine there.

The hum sounds like the normal hum any amplifier has, but a lot stronger.

The hum does react to the gain and volume knobs (gets louder) and disappears when I (for instance) run my V-Amp through the PWR in. So it seems the problem lies within the pre-amp.

Anybody got any idea what this could be or have you experienced this problem yourself?
