Since I bought the Vibro-Champ XD, I'm using just an MXR Dyna-Comp. I don't need anything else.

I played one of the new Vox Dual Overdrive Pedal and holy $@!& it flippin rocks. This thing with it's 12au7 tube in it is crazy sick. I cant say enough good about it. It is smoothe and rich and can git super saturated or be a nice smooth overdrive soound. i think i can take off like 3 pedasl off my board with just this one. holy cow i was blown away.

I use Boss Overdrive, Distortion, Equalizer and Chromatic tuner. They all work great. Oh. and let's not forget the Dunlop Cry Baby.

may seem a weird question, but how much overdrive/distortion does a pedal give to an amp with overdrive channels anyway? Whats its purpose, more drive or just extra variations?
