Using a Marshall JCM800 (2203), high sensitivity, presence 8, pre-amp volume 10. How can I get the same or a similar kind of distortion using a '65 Deluxe Reverb or a '65 Twin Reverb?Does anybody know?

You won't. A Fender will never sound like a Marshall and vice versa.

AS I own a new 65 twin reverb that it is one of the best amps for clean and loud playing available, but to sound like your marshall your will need tons of effects to get the tube overdriven/distortion sound your looking for.

No chance to get the same sound then??!!...I thought so

everytime I go play somewhere where I can't take my marshall coz I've got to use the equipment that's already there, the choice is either a twin or a deluxe...these places are blues clubs or blues festivals: what about the "Beano album"???!!!blues ain't just BB King's sound!!!
