I just bought a new Deluxe Reverb 65 RI. It sounds great but I'm very dissapointed in the reverb. I bought this mail order (Musisians Friend) and I already returned one for what I thought was a reverb problem I tried one in a local store and it sounded fine but at home, just barely there. I will say that this is not the first amp. reverb in which I've been dissapointed. Maybe just a bad ear or too high an expectation. You're thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated.

I sent my DRRI to get the output tubes changed and rebiased. When I got it back, the reverb didn't work. I turned it off, wiggled the reverb tube a little and made sure the connections to the reverb tank were secure (set of what looks like RCA jacks). Turned it back on and it worked great. It's been working great ever since. I don't know if it was the connections or the tube.

I'm confused by reissues, I've used Twins and Supers that had too thin reverb. What your problem probably was you didn't break in the speaker. For a day and a half, my Deluxe's reverb was too thin. Then the speaker broke in, and it sounds exactly perfect for Surf.[/code]
