Hi,

I have a FM 210R since 3-4 months and last week I noticed that a low continuous "tic" comes out of it on a regular beat. Like tic....tic....tic.... It makes that tic only if a guitar is plugged in. No guitare, no tic. I play with an Epiphone DOT ES335 though I tried another acoustic guitar with another wire and the tic still there. Does it means that the amp is going to break or I did something wrong with settings?

Thanks for replying. And what thing would cause that interference?

So in that case this means that both cables I tested are defective! The're both cheap and low quality. But I played a while it started doing that tic noise.

Try plugging your amp in another socket, maybe another room. You'd be suprised what noise can come through your household outlets. Hope it helps!

I tried the amp connected somewhere else in the house and the tic was still there. But I found what causes that. I turned down the Reverb knob and the tic stopped. It was set at 5 or 6 and I turned it down to 1 or 2 and didn't hear the noise anywhere. This bring the following: I guess the Reverb shouldn't do that?

Thanks to all of you for your help.

well, your spring reverb might be broken or something..let someone who can do it fix it, or ask the shop where you´ve bought the amp

A broken spring would make that tic noise? There is something wrong with the reverb fr sure though.

Thanks
