I've played an MIA Strat through one, and it was very noisy. All the FM DSP models are for some reason. Cool features, but they couldn't overcome the fuzzy noise. Go read some reviews on it.

I don't want to make anyone here mad by suggesting
a non-fender amp but I'd go for a Epiphone Valve Junior Half Stack
over a solid state Fender. If you can swing it then i'd suggest
a blues JR. The fm65 has descent clean just so so ok for distortion
and the digital effects are "ok" but just that. I hate to say it but
other brands like VOX are way better for modeling. Fender tube amps
are tough to beat though for tone, clarity, punch, and grit. A simple
effect pedal in front of a Fender tube amp is musical heaven...
in my opinion.
