Well, my guitar teacher who works at one of the local shops around my house can get me a sweet deal on either a 65' Reverb Deluxe or a 65' Twin Reverb ( both reissues, of course)

The store rents out amps to local jazz festivals, and once they get them back, they sell them for a few hundred dollars off!
I think he said a twin reverb would be around 950$ and a Deluxe Reverb would be around 750$

great deals eh?
I'm thinking which one of the two I should buy, seeing as im using a line six spider 3 right now, which I hate :(

Can't wait until Christmas!!!

Both are great tube amps. The Twin will give you more headroom (clean tone before breakup) so if you play loud, you may prefer the Twin. On the other hand, a maxed Deluxe with a mic on it will give you some great tones also and if you don't need the volume, ditch the mic, and enjoy the classic tube sustain.

Make sure you understand what a Twin is capable of. It is very, very loud and clean. You will probably not be in a situation where you can turn it up loud enough to break up without pedals.

Use ear protection!
Great amps, the twin is one of my favorites but it is very loud.
