I've been playing for 42 years and have owned MANY Fender amps, all were excellent amps. Recently bought Super ChampXD that is really cool to add to my rig. After about 60 days however it stopped playing through the speaker. Line out still worked. Contacted Fender and they are going to replace whole amp!! You just don't find that kind of service and personal treatment in this day and age. So I just wanted to say to any other and any potential Fender owners. Fender stands behind what they sell! I've been a proud Fender owner for 42 years and I am now more loyal than ever. Rock and Roll will never die!!! :D

I have been playing for 6 years and have always played Fender products. I think with out doubt that you get the most for your dollar with Fender anything. Reliability, versatility, and quality are what I think best sum up Fender. More than just a company, Fender is an american institution that has gave musicians awesome instruments at fair prices. I am glad to see that they still care about their customers. So many big names forget lack that nowadays.

I agree, great company and support!
Also helps if you buy from a local dealer that will give you good after sales support if you have any questions and issues.

Lot of the big chains and on-line stores forget you as soon as your cash is in their hands.

While I have heard plenty of horror stories about purchasing from the online retailers, I have never had a bad experience. Both Sweetwater and Wildwood Guitars have an excellent selection but also fantastic customer service. I bought about four high end guitars online and have never been disappointed. However I am almost always disappointed when I walk to into Guitar Denter. We have a very large one here in San Antonio that has a platinum room with high end gear. I usually walk in there and see amps missing knobs, guitars covered in dust, or scratched and dented.

If I made the most beautiful, comfortable, best sounding, playing guitars in the world I would stand behind my products also.

Fender has the reputation of making first class products. I have owned guitars from USA, Mexico, Japan, Korea and China. Never had a complaint for any of them. When you consider that Fender was there at the beginning of the music transition to electric guitars and amps, they should be proud of the products they have brought to market. As for the amps, they pretty much invented many of things we take for granted in amps. Leo would listen to the muscians, hence the Strat. He was also a tinkerer and would try different sounds and effects. In recent years the quality of the amps have declined and it seems that a lot of owners either have to make some kind of quick fix or modification. I am surprised to hear that they replaced the amp, that the first time I have heard that happen. We all want to play Fenders and make that sound that only a Fender can produce. I hope the executives and technical people of Fender read these forums and start to correct the problems I have been reading. If not, I sense that other boutique amp companies like Fuchs will start to steal people away, because they will be able to recreate that Fender Sound on amps that are made to last at a reasonable price.
