I have a new 65 Twin Reverb RI amp , a Boss ME-50 multiple effects unit and a new Analogman TS-9/808 silver mod Ibanez pedal. How would you suggest the order of placement from guitar to amp? Thanks in advance!

Just leave it, it will fade away into the lost thread pile.

Trade in the me-50( that digital thing is sucking your tone man)...
then, put your overdrive inbetween your guitar and amp.....

So you think I should get rid of the me-50 and buy seperate stomp boxes? I was thinking the same thing but I want a true bypass pedal board. What do you suggest? I think all I need ,since I have a 65 twin reverb , is a compressor, chorus,my ts9/808mod, volume, and a wah, right? maybe a distortion? :?

I was interested in the ME-50 until I borrowed a friend of mine's for a couple of weeks. There were a couple of distortions that were fun to play around with but I wouldn't actually use them. The overdrives were beyond horrible, totally unuseable. A couple of the reverbs were ok but nowhere as good as my DRRI reverb, and you have the same reverb as I do on your Twin. The stereo chorus was ok in very small amounts but still not as good as almost any stompbox. Bottom Line: The Fender Twin Reverb RI is a total tone giant! Beautiful clean headroom for days with georgeous reverb. Don't ruin it by putting that ME-50 in front of it. I know it's sooo much cheaper to just get a multi-effects unit, but it's a huge sacrifice in tone.

Yeah, man. Not too long ago I wasn't quite happy with my tone.
I removed all my "BOSS" pedals and my tone improved dramatically!
Then I removed ALL digital pedals. I sold them to a gut at work. I than
began replacing one at a time with analog pedals. I've been able to preserve my tone and have a rich pallete of sonic textures to choose
from. I can finally hear the tonal diversity of my differnent guitars and
i'm quite please. Disclaimer: trading my crate amp for an orange tiny terror was the first step....

I agree it is nice to plug straight into my amp every once in awhile bypassing all fx. Just to remember how it is totally clean and full. By the way, is a RAT distortion pedal analog? What about Dunlop wah?
