I was trying to repair my amp and making some measurements with the multimeter and the amp on I touched accidentally the R5 and blew it, since it burned out I can't see its color code and then its value. I want to replace it with the same stock value. Does anybody could tell me the R5 stock value in this amp?

It seems is a color code (Brown Green Gold Gold) = 1.5 ohms but the schematic says it has a 1.5Kohms. I'm confused.

Thanks in advance

I'll come with the answer in few minutes

If schematic show 1.5 K it is 1.5 K
I never see 1.5 ohms in a amp
Where is the resistor ? Tube, pin # ?

I'll look at my schematic

R5 is a bias resistor on a 12AX7 , it is always a 1.5 k

What is the issue with the amp ?

Hello Vinyl. You are a clever guy. Yes I can see it clearly on a side of C1 and yes there is red in the color code. The roasted resistor turn that red ring in gold jejeje

Thank you very much.

You are welcome, I'm not that clever, I just remembered you posted a picture.

I hope you have a good new year, and I still pray for your country and people.

Regards,
vinyl
