Hi

I've had a fender champion 100 for about a little over a year now and it has always worked just fine. I recently drove down to college with the amp packed in my car with all my other stuff. I plugged my amp into an outlet in my dorm room (it worked fine in my dorm room last year) and the amp turns on but it doesn't sound right and anytime I change a knob nothing happens.

Also when I change the channel or effects on the foot switch nothing happens either. So basically no matter what I do the amp stays the same volume/sound/tone, I can't change the channel or put any effects on. When I do click the channel or effects button on my foot switch it does turn on and glow red like its working but the sound coming out of the amp doesn't change at all.

So im not too familiar with the mechanics and stuff of amps so I'm not sure if the outlets are the problem even though I've tried a few or if its something with the wiring that maybe got damaged in the car ride but everything on the amp looks fine.

Just looking for some help on what I should do.

Thanks!

Definitely sounds like the Brains aren't talking to the amp. Probably its an intermittent connection.
Try dropping the amp once from about 6" and see if that doesn't shake it into working. Then see a tech.
