Yes, it's mine.

And sorry, you're right. Compared it to other pictures I found on the internet, not to yours.

So I just clip both ends with a scissor or a knife?

I clipped the bright cap, what a different sound. The neck pickup of my Les Paul is so dark and kinda muddy.

I like the overall tone, especially with my Strat. But it would be awesome to have a bright switch working like the fat switch on the amp.

On end is enough.
I'm afraid you may cut the capacitor lead too short, you may have to pay a tech to put a new one

How to tweak bright cap;

Do not take it wrong but on the forum we try to give the right information for your specific problem.
My picture should have been your reference, nothing else.

Getting back to your original question about attenuators, I use a TAD Silencer with my Deluxe Reverb Reissue and it is fantastic. It has some controls to bring back frequencies that you think the attenuation may be losing but I don't always need to use them as I can make allowances on the amps tone controls.

Hey guys,

I have a Fender Blues Junior in the tweed version.
I read about the amp that it has the best sound if you crank the master and then dial in the volume how loud or overdriven you want the sound.

But man, this is way too loud for my apartment.
Does it make sense to get a power attenuator so I could crank the master, dial in the volume/gain and then turn the overall volume down with the attenuator?

Thanks for your help. :D

You could try the amp on clean with a blues pedal or pedal if your taste.

I get good tones on low and hi. I would take it where you can crank it before you start spending.

I'm quite happy right now, I've changed the tube in v1 to a JJ 12AY7.

Way "smoother" now and overall better tone than with the Groove Tubes 12AX7.

Just a quick question: Is this the V1 position?

Yes that is V1. Glad you're getting along better w/ the amp. Maybe try a 5751 in V1 also if you have not already.
