More than likely a tube problem.

I've left it on for hours at a time. I come in and fire it up at the beginning of a rehearsal just to see if anything's changed. Then I try it again before shutting things down for the night. I haven't changed out the tubes since I bought it back in about 2003. It's got some hours on it, not excessive though. I'm thinking it must be tubes. Maybe one of the main power tubes but I know very little about tube amp maintenance. For quite some time I played through a Super Reverb and it was still going strong when I sold it after years of hard use so I'm kind of in the dark. Looks like they all light up. It might be time to just change them all out and see what I get. Thanks very much for your reply.

Those Rivera designed Concerts need to have the tubes biased. Just swapping out the tubes won't give you the same sounds.

There are a lot of electrons moving through the tube? So many that if we left this tube operating, it would destroy itself! The electrons hitting the plate cause it to heat up, and if there's enough electrons heating it up, it will turn red-hot, melt the tube's glass envelope, and the tube will stop working.

Applying a BIAS voltage to the grid. This is a steady NEGATIVE voltage, more negative than the cathode. Since like REPELS like, the negative voltage will REDUCE the number of electrons passing through the grid.

Clear as mud? :?:
