Hello! I’ve bought Blues Deluxe Reissue on e-bay, but since there is no Fender Dealer in my country I can’t consult about this amp. So I have two questions: 1) the top panel located vice-versa relatively player, is it spoilage or vintage style? 2) My amp has a strong noise (background) in both channels in comparison with other amps, especially when I turn guitar volume completely. My guitar is Fender Stratocaster Highway One with single-coil pickups. Sorry for my English and thank you for attention. I’ll be glad for any useful information.

Great amp, the Blues Deluxe Reissue! All of them have the top panel oriented in the manner you described. Why, I'm not sure, but an old posting on this site some time back theorized that it was a throwback to when players stood behind the amp to play. I have never done that nor seen it done.

As for the noise, I would suspect 'dirty' power or a bad ground. I don't know what voltage and hz is used in your country, but here in the US, one way to eliminate the noise sometimes is to plug a two prong adapter (minus the ground probe) into the socket and the amp into it. Also you may get interference from nearby flourescent lights or other electrical equipment. Also, you may try playing the amp at another location such as a friend's house to verify that there is not a problem with the amp itself.

Good luck!

Thank you for reply, you reassured me about top panel :)
I live in Kazakhstan, in our country 220V and 55Hz. Since this amp was bought in the US, one electrician expert changed transformer to 220V and he assure that the amp works normally. I`ve used my amp in different places with various guitars but this noise is unaltered.
P.S. Where did you find Blues Deluxe`s photo?
