Hi, I have a Hot Rod Deville, one year old, has been working great, yesterday I was practicing and a loud humming and scratching sound came out of the amp, I powered off the amp and disconnected the pedals reconnected them and then turned the amp back on, any idea what is going on?

Um, when you reconnected the pedals and turned it back on, was the noise gone or was it still there?

What about guitar straight into the amp? (No pedals.)

Does the amp maje the noise with nothing plugged into any of the inputs?
