I just got a Hot Rod Deluxe 112 about a year ago. I love this amp. Mine has a lacquered tweed finish and a Jensen p12n speaker and it's called the "Limited Edition." I was wondering what you people think of fender speakers vs Jensen?

Do you like the Jenson? A lot of people change out the stock Eminence speaker for either a different Eminence or a Jenson.
It's all personal taste.

63supro, I know you have a twin reverb so I was wondering if you've ever used a Dr Z ZBrake or something similar to reduce the wattage and still turn up the amp to tube breaking point? sorry to change original post!

Nope. I only ever use pedals. It's really hard to get a Twin to break up. It was designed to stay clean and does a great job of it. You can pull 2 power tubes either the 2 outer or 2 inner, but it's still loud. Just be sure your amps in good shape.

You're Right I was just wondering as they say you can turn your amp all the way up and bring the wattage down to as little as 1 watt. Ok thanks!!

I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to write on this post. In the long run I am very happy with my H.R.Deluxe with the Jensen. I just wondered what the general concences was. I'm not even sure which speaker costs more. The Eminence, Celestion, or the Jensen. I've got more amp than I need and will never need to upgrade. When I went to buy it they made it sound like it was special and I heard exacly what I wanted to hear. On the bright side I did get it new for $599.99 + tax.
