Greetings,

I'm a very happy owner of a HRDLX3. My effects setup involved MIDI, including channel switching for the amp. The footswitch of the HRDLX3 performs 3 functions with just 2 foot switches. I'm trying to get the clean/drive/more drive functions of the amp to switch with MIDI footswitch control. Does anybody know a way to accomplish this? I was surprised to find that the foot switch that came with the amp has a *mono*, not a TRS plug. Can the switching functions be controlled by a MIDI channel switcher?

Thanks for any help.

Bill

It would be tough to do that.
The footswitch uses an AC signal. Using diodes, one section uses the positive half of the wave and the other section uses the negative wave.
If you used a MIDI controlled relay, that would get you the isolation you need to pull it off. I just don't know anything about MIDI controlled relays.
Then I don't know if it would work with a manual FS in parallel or if you would have to remove it.
