Just an FYI- I had an old Fire kindle laying around and rather than buy a 2 in 1 mini notebook or another tablet, I thought I would test OTG and Superchamp X2. I figured older kindle Fires are cheap used and available, so, why not?

It doesn't work. Kindle Fires are locked out of becoming a 'host' so far as I can tell/find. So, while you can download the app for Remuda and run it, it does not actually activate on the Kindle and recognize the amplifier.

That's because a Kindle runs on an Android system rather than PC or Mac I believe.
They ARE good for storing lyrics though...I use mine as a cheat-sheet on a music stand.

True but remuda works under Android, just not restricted Android. I have a Lenovo tablet and that works great. Good idea about the lyrics though!

Kindle tablets run an "altered" version of Android (Fire OS). Amazon doesn't use pure Android. That might be causing the problem.

Yup. No host mode enabled.

the developer of the app is a forum user and seems to check in from time to time: Remuda Developer

Or you can email Robert at: support@tritonsw.com

Maybe he has a workaround.
