I'm trying to determine the value /wattage of this resistor. There's no schematic available (1987) that shows it. Has anyone serviced one of these that may be familiar with it? It looks to be at least 7 watts or so and 20 ohms.

Thanks for any info,
UN

I never see a resistor in paper enclosure.
I read 20 ohms at 1%

Precision wire-wound resistors look big for their ratings, I'd guess it's a 3 watt resistor at most. Looking at how they mark their current offerings, it may be a 2 watt. The part # in your photo is obscured by the flash and the obvious crack in the outer casing. What circuit function is it tied to, if its in the power rail going w/ a 5 watt rating wouldn't hurt anything. You can find them on Ebay in that format.

That's what I'm going to try. (They'll all be YAGEO before you know it) I can add a single term strip utilizing the original mounting screw from the bracket.
