I'm trying to figure out how to price my blues deville amp that was left to me in 1997 with a 1958 les paul guitar. I need to know how to tell the year it was made

I’d like to think most things sell for their average value on eBay. Sometimes maybe more, or maybe more offen less. At the end of the auction, it’s worth is what someone is willing to pay for it. So start the auction low to attract bidders. It will sell, no matter what year it is. Yeah, what KB says, check serial number.

The problem with a big amp like a Fender Deville is the shipping cost. I’ve sold a couple of big items on eBay and I got kind of burned on the shipping. If you live in Calif, of course some guy in Florida will win the auction. I must of offered “free shipping”, like Amazon. But I sold it.

A 1958 Les Paul, as in Gibson? Really,,,,, not made in China.
You mentioned this item was left to you (as in family inheritance?). That guitar I would not sell. I’d keep it in the family. Pass it on to when it’s your time. The value of that item, if authentic may be high. The value in keeping it may be worth more than money, imo.

In the whole scheme of things... if that is a real 1958 Les Paul. And it plays okay --- who cares when the Blues Deville was made. Or how much it's worth.

Prolly, just me...

Without pics to show what you have, it could be a Hello Kitty guitar and a Stage 15 amp. :?:
