Can anyone share their experiences and opinions about the difference between the Vibroverb and the Vibro-King? I understand that the specifications are different, but I am thinking about buying one or the other and would like to know what people think…

I have a '63 Vibroverb RI from 1990. This is the brownface 2x10", not the 1x15" '64 RI. I love it. It's my #1 amp. Between the brownface tone & trem circuits & 2x10" layout, it's just a little different take on the traditional Fender amp - really roars with my favorite overdrives (SCOD, BP-1, Rat, etc.)

I've replaced the stock Oxfords with 1x Weber 10F150 and 1x Weber 10A125 - a very good combo. 6L6s are 'Winged Cs' and I'm running a mix of 12Ax7s. . .

I am a Vibro-King Fan. LOVE IT!!!
it is a Tone Machine
it covers most any Fender tube amp made.
it breaks up nicely at about 3.5 which is alittel loud.

great build quality

did i say fantastic tone.

a little heavy but worth it.

good luck with your choice

I chose the Vibroverb over the Vibro-King, mainly because of the tube/diode rectifier switch, & the 15" speaker.

It's my favorite Fender amp so far, & I've played or owned most.

You might try harmony central.com for owner reviews.
