I have a Cyber Twin I bought about 6 months after they came out. I love this amp and have never had any problems with until recently. I fired it up and have no sound. Everything lights up, and the knobs still do their funky things, but I get nothing. I didn't know if it may be a tube thing or what. Checked everything else, speaker wires, trim, volume and master, but still nuthin'. Been a great amp, hate to think about replacing it, and hate to pay some one out the butt to fix something simple. Anybody out there that can give me a clue? Also, if it is a tube, any suggestions on what is available to get just a touch more crunch out if it? Thanks...

I've had my CT since 2000 as well with no problems. Try one of the solid state presets, one doesn't use the preamp tubes. If it works, than you need to just pull the head and replace the preamp tubes.

If that doesn't work, than you have to take it to a amp tech.

Interesting. I also have Cyber Twin, which I love, but I'm also having a problem. Occasionally, when I hit the power switch . . . nothing happens. Totally dead. When I sent it off for repair, it powered up no problem. Got it back, it worked okay for a day, then the problem started again. Turns out the power problem is intermittent, unfortunately it cost me some bucks to figure that out. It's really frustrating.

Ideas, anyone?

Maybe it's the power outlet you plug it in? Or maybe you don't push the power cord in firm enough.
