hello
I have a cyber twin, 1st edition (v1.3). it's a good amp but I have a problem with a looper jamman solo digitech.
if I connect it between my guitar and the amp, it works but if I change bank (clear sound to saturated sound): the loop sound changes tone.
If I plug behind the amp, in the effects loop, it's the same thing (and it's normal)

I test the output spdif with a converter and the sounds are not good (low volume, saturated sound becomes clear).

I like this amp. It's a shame to leave me just for this looper problem.

a idea?
the firwmare flashed?
creates a direct output on cybertwin's HP?
thank you
Rob

I bring a second precision: if I decide to buy a distortion pedal (to put it between my guitar and the amp), not to change Bank during the songs, and put my looper on the effect loop in the back of the amp: it does not go either.
Indeed, unless I'm mistaken, all the effects built into the amp pass after the effects loop.
So if I activate a delay or a reverb of the amp while a looped piece plays: it will be affected by the effects. Unless you can change the position of the effects loop but I do not know how to do ???? an idea
Thank you

Hi cuyd,
yep, sadly the CyberTwin FX loop is a bizarre design. In my tests with the CT FX loop, all it does is bypass the TRIM knob. It makes no sense to me either. I have seen several posts on the internet with users dismayed at the CT FX loop the "is not designed correctly". I have never seen an official explanation from Fender on it. I'd love to have someone tell me I am wrong, though and tell us how to use the CT FX loop, if so.

I will say, I don't use the FX on my CTs. For you, it looks like you need another solution for FX loop needs. For me, I use a multi-amp setup and any looping I currently do goes through my GSP2101 and my CTs are my "Dry".

Good luck
