Just bought a used Acoustasonic 30 and it has no reverb. Looks like I have to replace the tank. This may be a silly question but looking at the cabinet, do I remove the speakers to gain access inside to the existing tank to remove and replace it? thanks

Before buy a new reverb tank , check wires to the tank if they are good , read ohms at input and output at the tank , this will say lot about the tank .

About speaker , I don,t know I never work on Acoustasonic amp

You must remove the speaker in order to remove the reverb tank: remove the metal front cover by removing the 6 screws. Next remove, by pulling out, the wooden grillcloth frame which is secured only by Velcro. Lastly, remove the speaker screws and the speaker. The tank screws are accessible from the speaker cutout.
