I turned my amp on the other day and the EL84 started arcing within the tube and crackling noises coming from the speaker. I ordered replacement EL84 and one tube started red plating. I swapped the tubes around to see if it was the tube but the problem remained with the socket. What can I do to rectify this problem.

If it's w/in the warranty period, take it to a service center for repair if your the original owner w/ receipt.
Sounds like a bias resistor failure or perhaps something else in the bias circuit. Doubtful two tubes exhibited an internal failure, but that's also a possibility. Don't try anymore new tubes until its checked out.

Otherwise you're looking at taking it to a tech for a complete diagnosis and repair, could be a somewhat costly endeavor.

sfceric64 is right : Only tech can fix your amp.

Amp may have issue with bias cathode resistor and a glowing red tube may damaged a grill resistor.

The warranty is only good for two years. Looks like I'll have to send my amp off as there is not a local Authorized Fender repair center near me which sucks as my amp is only 6 months old!!!
