Hey guys,

today I bought a used Fender Blues Junior Lacquered Tweet but after try to play over the amp, it didn't work.
So I opened the amp and saw, that there's a loose cable, the other cable is attached to the speaker (you can see that on the photo, it's a pdf file).
Is this something I can fix myself? Because right now I don't know how to attach it.

Thanks Guys.

Image did not attach. You need to host the image on a site like Imgur and use the "IMG" code to link it. This forum does not allow attachments
You have reverb send/return, and the speaker.
If the reverb tank is unplugged, the amp will make little or no sound when the reverb knob is all the way up, and will get louder.
If the speaker is not connected (or is plugged into the footswitch jack), the amp will be damaged by having no load on the output transformer.

Did you play/listen to the amp before you bought it?

Before you freak out about damaging the output transformer, playing with the speaker disconnected doesn't always immediately cause damage.

It can cause immediate damage, and it's an extremely risky/bad thing to do. Don't turn the amp on again until you know the speaker is connected correctly.

But there's a very good chance it's not damaged. Especially if you didn't have the volume all the way up and didn't try playing it for a long time.

(Most Fenders have shorting jacks for the speaker connection which offers some protection if the speaker is unplugged. But even amps with non-shorting amps often survive brief bouts of having no speaker connected.)

Again, avoid having no speaker connected. It's like russian roulette -- you'll often be lucky, but if you pull that trigger too many times, eventually it will go "bang". And sometimes the first time is too many.

Don't use amp until cable is fixed

I'm posting from my phone. If I put my finger on the broken link, a menu pops up. One of the options is "open image", and that takes me to the imgur page and lets me see the pic.

I've been trying to copy the url and embed it, but I cant't get it to work.
----------------
One of the tabs has broken off the speaker and is stuck in the connector on the wire.

He needs to pull the broken tab out of the connector, then stick the connector onto the other tab on the speaker.

Easy fix, and those of us who are more familiar with amps would immediately know what needs to be done and how to do it.

But appears to be another new member who got frustrated by the "first post delay". Hopeful that he figured it out himself, or showed it to someone who fixed it in 30 seconds.

Let's try this one....

That is certainly not a death-blow for the speaker. Just pull the broken tab out of the connector and push the connector onto the remaining tab on the speaker.

It's hard to tell from the pic but if the tab is soldered to the connector on the wire, you could attempt to solder the tab back onto the terminal. If it's not soldered together I would just slide the tab out of the connector and connect it to the remaining tab, gently of course so as not to damage the second tab.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
