Not really a question as much as my thoughts on owning both amps. I have an original 1995 USA BDvl 410 and a 2002 HRDvl 210. The Hot Rod has had an upgraded cap job, and the Blues DeVille has the twin stack mod and a bias pot installed, and is on its original set of caps (still in spec!) Both have their original speakers. Both have very recently been serviced by a reputable local amp tech, and both have new sets of matched JJ 6L6 power tubes. Same 12ax7 preamp/PI tubes in both. Over the years they’ve each had their share of replaced grid resistors, plate resistors, ceramic resistors, etc.

They are VERY different amps.

If I need clean the 210 is my go to. The 12” (stock) speakers have such a larger range; they can sparkle and shake your chest at the same time. The headroom this amp has over the Blues is remarkable given that they’re both 60w.

The Blues DeVille 410 is a grit monster. It can do clean, but it always is on the edge of breaking up. I can turn this amp all the way up and get some amazing saturated tube distortion, where the 210 is just too loud to get to 12 most times. It’s warmer with punchier mids, which is why I have the Twin stack mod installed, sometimes it’s fun to scoop out all the mids :)

I find myself usually plugging straight into the 410, where the 210 gets the pedals. The 410 feels more like an honest amp, if that makes any sense.

Last point, for all the distortion the 410 has, it idles remarkably quiet.

I lean toward 410 vs 212. Like you said, punchier mids. It cuts through the mix better (imo). I'm sure both are great but if I had to choose one, I'd go with the 410.

I originally wanted a Deville 410, but a vintage Super Reverb fell into my lap and, well .... no need now. 8)

I'm not a fan of either one. Like the Judges told Marty McFly on Back To The Future when his band auditioned to play the school dance "Sorry guy's; you're just too darn loud".
Had the DeVille 4x10, and hated everything about it. Throughout time, I have deduced that 15 watts Tube, and 100 watts Solid State is my personal limit. I'll stick with my Blues Junior and Pro Junior.

I'm glad others enjoy higher watt amps...there's something for everyone. 8)
