Do we know if there's going to be an upate to the Blues Deluxe, alongside the other Hot Rod series amps that now have a Mk IV version?

Since the Blues Deluxe is a reissue of a previously discontinued amp (with a few minor revisions from the original) it's unlikely they'll change it.

The Blues Deluxe was never out of production, they just added an external speaker jack, minor circuit revisions, while they kept cranking them out. Not sure why they called it a reissue instead of version 2. :?

Amps aren't like software.
You don't update to the new version just to have the latest.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Don't get me wrong - I absolutely love the BDRI I have. With a 5751 in V1 it's just perfect for me.

My enquiry was just out of curiosity, as Fender have updated the rest of the range. Nothing more.

I’m really surprised that fender has never upgraded the stock speaker in this amp. The stock speakers is really lifeless at stage volumes in my opinion. I choose the Jensen C12k 100 watt speaker as my choice however, there are many other great options available.
