I just purchased a Fender amp and I am looking for some info on it. I have searched the Fender web-site and the Internet and not found much info, so I am curious to see what anyone can tell me. I bought a Blues Junior amp used at the local Guitar Center. This amp has a wood sunburst finished cabinet. They advertised it as an "FSR Maple Sunburst Blues Junior". I have not been able to find out any specific info on this line of products. I would like to know when these were made, how many were made, what the original M.S.R.P. was for this type of amp and what current resale value might be. I have searched ebay and not been able to find any of these that had sold in the past. By the way I should also add that so far I love this amplifier, it has a wonderful tone, is beautiful looking and it is everything I had hoped it would be. Any info that you can tell me will be greatly appreciated.

Those were pretty limited in numbers. Every once in a while one will be on Ebay.

I had one when they first came out.

they were part of the 50th anniversary of the strat 2004, they were two tone burst just like the limited edition strats of the same year.

Mine was sweet, it also was a scratch and nick waiting to happen and so off to e-bay it went to find a new home.

sounded good !!!

I went through a B jr. stage and bought like five of them, ya know, tweed, made in USA, Made in Mexico, The wood burst one and a tweed complete with stains and abuse built in (relic).

I got over them after hearing what the Fender 4x10 config. sounded like, been hooked ever since.

some day when I'm too old to heft the Blues Deville I'll go back to a B jr.

I got some info from Fender regarding this amp, they were able to tell me that it was made in Dec 2004, that it an ash cabinet not maple as Guitar Center called it, and the original M.S.R.P. was $899.99. I am still curious to find out if anyone has seen one sell recently and what did it go for? And I also would like to know about how many of these were made in total.

Hello Phittel,

I've seen 2 of thes amps
both were used with prices
around $500.

Very nice indeed.

Also the year before {2003}
the custom shop made a
a short run out of Bubinga
very uncommon and a few
hundred more.

Cheers.

There is one for sale at the Guitar Center in Metairie, La.... just outside of New Orleans. I saw it the other day when I was there... Unfortunatly I didnt check the price. I'm going back this week and if anyone is interested, I'll see what its going for.
