My son is a touring musician and has been using his '65 Twin Reverb Reissue consistently on the road with no problems. He uses the vibrato channel exclusively since it has the best tone for his style of music - mostly progressive rock and blues. He plays humbucker guitars and uses Fulltone and VHT OD pedals as well as a TS-808, so he pushes a strong signal during leads. During his last gig the vibrato channel cut out during the first song and he had to borrow an amp to finish the gig. The normal channel worked fine he told me. I immediately thought it was a bad V2 (vibrato channel) pre-amp tube, but when I plug my guitar directly into the vibrato channel to reproduce the problem it sounds fine. I don't have his pedal board here since he is out on tour again, but when I tried one of my humbucker guitars with my Boss OD (OS-2) pedal cranked up it still works fine. Is it possible that the V2 pre-amp tube is bad enough to fail with his pedals but still work OK with mine or is it a more complex problem? At this point, I will have to wait for another couple weeks before he is around with his pedal board to test. Would appreciate any recommendations you all have! Thanks!

You can ignore this topic/questions I had two weeks ago. I have already resolved the problem. Took two weeks for the topic to be approved by Fender admin for posting.

Bad connection/cable?

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.

NAMM time is a bad time for this as they are busy with the show.
It took me close to a week to be cleared.

So what was the issue? Tube?
