Hi all,

A couple of years ago I bought a second hand Blues Junior for rehearsals and small gigs, but it was so good that I ended up selling my Blues Deluxe and using the Blues Junior exclusively. However, I really missed the tweed finish of the Blues Deluxe, so a few weeks ago I bought an almost new Blues Junior Tweed.

The problem that I have is that the clean sound on the Tweed is great, but when I use my OCD pedal it sounds very harsh, almost like a fuzz. Yet when I use the OCD with the standard BJR it sounds great. Any idea what could be causing this? I thought that the two amps would sound very similar, with and without pedals . The Tweed amp is only about a year old and looks as though it was hardly used, so could it be that the speaker hasn't broken in yet? The Tweed has the Jenson speaker, but other than that they are identical, stock tubes etc.

Any advice would be really appreciated. I'm thinking of selling the Tweed amp but it just looks so cool!!!

Many thanks
