Anyone had any luck using the bassbreaker 15 using the 4 cable method on a multi FX processor. I’m using my bassbreaker with a line6 Firehawk FX. I’ve got it all cabled up correctly, checked and double checked.
Once it’s connected I lose the use of all of the amp controls (inc master volume) and the structure and gain controls have no effect on the sound.

I’m hoping I’m doing something stupid but want to check in case anyone has already tried and failed. It works fine with the firehawk FX in front of the Amp or in the fx loop of the Amp but that’s not what I want. I’m hoping to use the firehawk to place virtual pedals either before or after the pre-Amp as standard using the 4 cable method as per usual for fx processors.

Signal path is as follows:

Guitar -> FIrehawk In -> FIrehawk Loop Send -> Amp Input -> Amp FX Send —> FIrehawk Loop Return —> FIrehawk Output —> Amp Return

It should be: guitar > Firehawk in > Firehawk output > amp input > amp fx send > Firehawk loop return > Firehawk loop send > amp fx return.

In other words you hook up the Firehawk's main input and output just like you're using it in front of the amp, then hook up the Firehawk's loop to the amp's loop.

It's a simple mistake, not a stupid mistake.

Four cable method is a little confusing at first.
