I put some high output JJ tubes in my rackmount super sixty and now I can't get my mids down without the highs going wildly out of balance. It sounds super shrilly and peircing. I can turn up the midrange to EQ it out but then Its a hair on the muddy side. I'm wondering if these tubes will tone down a little with time and some use. I had a bias pot installed based on the recommendation of the first tech that looked at the amp. Then euro tubes rebiased it when I called them about the problem. (they've been good to work with and they're located close by.) And it did sound a little better but I'm willing to buy new tubes if I have too. I just want my sound back. Has anybody got any advice on this subject, I don't know what to do next??
