Yes, I have a tweed cab to sit under my Blues Deluxe Reissue. I love the sound! Only way I can describe it is "Fuller" not louder. The lows do seem to be stronger.

For me and my preferred music (60's and 70's R&R) it is great. I play two different guitars (an LP wannabe and a 335 wannabe) with humbuckers plus an Epi Wildkat with p90's. I prefer the sound of the humbuckers through it, but that would probably be true of my tastes regardless of the amp. The Wildkat has more of a Gretsch growl to it.

I highly recommend it to anyone who gigs in a medium to fairly large venue and doesn't mind transporting another 41# cab. Makes a good looking "stack".

BTW, if you do a search on past posts on the Hot Rod Deluxe 112 cabinet, you'll find favorable comments on it and one picture of a guy on stage (if I recall in las Vegas) performing. The 'stack' looks too cool!

Also there's a pic of the Texas Red under the HRDlx somewhere in the postings....also very nice.

I really like mine, it gives a "fuller" sound/tone. I have a black HRD with the Black enclosure. Something else to try... separate the enclosure by about 15 feet... not exactly stereo but pretty cool anyway

But can you use it in stereo?
With a chorus(with left and right outs) for example?

Thats a great question... I dont have a chorus, to try. I wish I was more of an expert on these things... if the extension cab is just plugged into your main amp, you probably wont get true stereo???
Anyway, I think you will find the extension cab an excellent upgrade

The amp's (BDRI) input is mono as is the output, so the cab is simply a parallel connection to the amp's speaker. Sending a signal from a chorus pedal direct to the ext. cab bypassing the amp won't work because it will not be an amplified signal.

Regardless, it sounds great!
