Hi I’ve just brought the amp from a uk online retailer, they sent me the amp from their warehouse and it came with a 2 pin Euro plug when I was expecting a 3 pin uk plug. I called to tell them and they said they will send me a adaptor which to clamp and screw the Euro plug into place. All seems to be working great, just wondering if anyone has any experience with this and if this will damage the tubes and electrics in the long run?

3 third pin, on the amp side, is a ground for protecting you.
An adaptor do not provide ground, just a look.

With or without this 3 rd pin amp will work safely.

If this is the type of 2 prong plug you have, the proper adapter will give you a ground.

Not in my opinion . A 2 prong plug have 2 wires in the cable to the amp. A ground need a third wire.
Adapter will not bring a third wire to the amp.

If you would read that link you would see that that plug has a ground connection, (i.e. 3 wire) just not a 3rd prong.

The link is in my post not in Fenderbluesdaz post. I'm assuming this is the plug he's talking about. I should have mentioned that I had this same plug on my DRRI. You need to buy a 3 prong adapter and you get the ground.
