I had a mishap and busted a power tube in my hot rod deluxe - great time to repace all the stock ones so .. I went JJ tesla/eurotubes. Bob from euro tubes recommends bias at 90mV. that is way hotter than the stock groove tubes at 65-68mV. Anyone have experience with this? Oh yeah even with the bias adjustment turned totally clockwise I can only get 81mV out of it! HELP!!! Moodus

If the bias is set too high you'll kill the tubes very quickly. You need to know the plate voltage and be around 70% dissipation. There is a formula. Otherwise the mv setting means nothing. If you don't know what you're are doing, you could be electrocuted. It's not a hard thing to do just be careful and keep one hand in you pocket.
